Halloween Pumpkin

Buenas, como ya se acerca Halloween, hoy os traigo mi propuesta para este año que no está tan elaborada como en años anteriores pero por alguna razón ahora se me enrojece la cara al usar látex líquido así que me ha sido imposible usarlo para este año. 

Bueno, dejando eso de lado, este año pensé en hacer una calabaza de estas típicas de Halloween que nunca había hecho y me parece bastante sencilla, resultan y al alcance de todos. Solo usé Supracolors de Kryolan para su elaboración. El resultado espero que os guste.

Bueno, ya veis que es sencilla. Bueno, espero poder subir alguno más pero más por el lado bello, jajaja. ¿qué os ha parecido? ¡Gracias por estar ahí siempre! xoxo.

Halloween Series: The Ring- Samara

Hola a todos de nuevo! Hoy os dejo con mi último look de Halloween y esta vez se trata de Samara de la película The Ring. Este look es muy fácil de hacer. Solo necesitáis algunas face paints, látex líquido y si no tenéis el pelo negro y largo pues una peluca. Por supuesto que lo de tener lentillas ayuda muchísimo. Bueno pues la técnica es muy sencilla. Se aplica una fina capa de látex con la cara estirada y cuando está seco se suelta la cara y así se queda el aspecto de piel vieja. Después tapamos las cejas, ya sea con pegamento en barra o con cera. Yo en este caso usé cera. Aplicamos una facepaint blanca por toda la cara y luego marcamos arrugas y suciedad con otros colores. Este paso se puede hacer tanto con facepaints como con sombra de ojos. Recordad que alrededor del ojo hay que delinear en rojo para hacerlo más impactante y por supuesto las arrugas del entrecejo y de la boca son las más importantes. Por último nos ponemos la peluca y le echamos gomina o espuma para hacer que parezca húmedo el pelo. Y ya está!. Como veis es muy fácil y rápido. Hello there! This is my last Halloween look! Samara from The Ring. This is a sooo easy and simple look and it can look great and scary. you just need face paints, liquid latex, a wig (if needed) and the contact lenses are optional but they help a lot. First, we apply the latex with a stretched face, we wait for it to dry a few seconds and then we stop stretching the skin. This will give us like an old skin look. Then we cover the eyebrows either with glue stick or wax. I did it with wax here. After this we are ready to  apply a white facepaint all over the face and then we can make it look scarier adding a mix of various colours such as greens, blues, blacks and purples. For this step you can use either facepaints or eyeshadows but remember it is important to accentuate the red line around the eyes and the wrinkles around mouth and eyebrows since it is the most important feature of the look. Lastly, we put the wig on and try to make it wet with hair wax. And that's it! I hope you like as it is sooo simple and the result is really good! I will be doing more weareable looks for the next while :)! Happy Halloween!

Wolfe 'Mr. Hyde' Look

Hola a todos! Esta va a ser una entrada muy cortita solo para hablar del libro Extreme Face Painting de los hermanos Wolfe y enseñaos uno de los looks que hice del libro. El libro lo compré en amazon hace unos meses y me encantó. Es muy útil tanto si no tenéis experiencia en el facepainting como si sí la tenéis ya que tiene muy buenas ideas y te explica técnicas y paso a paso en cada look. Tengo que decir también que la parte que más me gusta del libro es la segunda que es donde aparecen los looks más de halloween y de monstruos. El libro también viene con un dvd en el que hacen el look the la calavera de la portada.

Hi everyone! This is going to be a quick entry just to tell you about the Wolfe 'Extreme Face Painting' book made by the great Wolfe brothers and to show you one of the recreations I've done from this book. Well, I got the book from amazon a few months ago and I have to say that I love it! It's really good either if you don't have practice with face painting or you do have. I must admit I'm more interested in the second half of the book called the 'fiendish faces' where all the creepy looks are but still the book is really good and it explains techniques and step by step to achieve the looks. The book also comes with a DVD about the green skull on the cover of the book.

Uno de los looks que hice es el de Mr. Hyde y también podéis ver una foto sacada del libro. Cuando recibí el libro no tenía todavía mi paleta de aquacolor así que lo hice con la de supracolor lo que resultó más difícil pero bueno, quede muy contenta con el resultado y también lo podéis usar para Halloweeen! I tried the Mr. Hyde look and you can also see the original picture taken from the book. I have to say at the moment I got the book I didn't have my aquacolor palette yet so I made it with supracolors which makes it more difficult but anyway, I was very happy with the result and you can use it for Halloween too! Halloween Series: Predator

Hola a todos! Como ya dije sigo con los looks para Halloween y esta vez se trata de Depredador, intenté hacer un 'face painting' con los aquacolor de Kryolan y esto fue lo que salió. No quedé muy contenta con el resultado, lo podía haber hecho bastante mejor con los dientes más grandes y la boca un poco más pequeña pero bueno, tampoco está del todo mal, no? que pensáis?? Adiole!

Hi everyone! Like I said I continue uploading Halloween looks and this time its about Predator. I tried to do it with face paints so I used Kryolan Aquacolors and this is what I came up with. I wasn't very happy with the result cos i reckon I could have done it better if the teeth were bigger and the mouth smaller since my face is quite small but anyway, it's not that bad, is it? Let me guys know what you think! See ya!

Halloween series: Kryolan Skull

Hola de nuevo!!! Hoy os traigo un look que vi hace tiempo en la web de Kryolan, hice un re-make, y así es como me quedó. El look original estaba hecho con aquacolors pero cuando yo lo hice aun no tenía mi paleta aquacolor así que lo realicé con la de supracolor (lo q no es nada fácil). Bueno espero que os guste y otra idea más para Halloween. Ah!! Voy a seguir subiendo looks para halloween estos días porque tengo muchos! Adiole!

Hi again! Today Im posting a look that i saw a long time ago on the Kryolan official website. I decided to do it and this is the result. The original look was actually made with the aquacolors but when I made it I didn't have my aquacolor palette so I had to use the supracolor one (it was quite triky since the skull has a lot of detail). I want to let you know that I'm going to be posting more Halloween looks these days because I have lots of them. I hope u enjoy with this and here u have another idea for Halloween! See you soon!
