Han decidido que se deben a sus principios y a sus clientes y por tanto a rechazado el vender en China!!! Aquí teneis los detalles,

Para que veáis que firmando peticiones si que se puede hacer algo. Lástima que a otras marcas les importe una mierda sus clientes y lo que opinan como es el caso de Mac Cosmetics que ya podrían aprender y mucho de lo que ha hecho Urban Decay.

You can see how signing petitions is also a way of taking action. It is a shame that other brands don't care at all about their costumers opinions such a Mac Cosmetics. They could learn a lot from Urban Decay.

Bueno, después de la bueniiiisima noticia os traigo este look que como veréis es bastante distinto de lo que se considera normal hoy día. Se trata de un look tipo ahumado pero al revés, es decir, en vez de extenderlo en el extremo exterior de lo ojo, lo hice en el interior y el resultado ha sido este, estilo años 20 por la forma de la aplicación de las sombras. Espero que os guste...

Anyway, after the great newss today I wanted to post this look that it's a little bit different. Its a smokey look but done the other way round. Instead of extending the eyeshadow in the outter corner I did it in the inner conor and towards the eyebrow and the result is this, a look with a 20's twist with this eyeshadow shape. I hope you like it...

Ya sé que no queda muy bien en mí debido a mis ojos y a la forma de mi cara pero aun así pienso que es otra opción y la verdad es que me gusta bastante.

 It doesn't look great on me because of my eyes and face shape but it is still another option and really like it.

Sleek V2 look and some IMPORTANT NEWS

Hoy os presento este look que he hecho con la recién estrenada paleta de mates de Sleek, concretamente la V2. Para ella he utilizado tres sombras de esta paleta que son la thunder, la orbit y la ink y ahora aquí os dejo con las fotos.

Hi there! Today I bring this look that I have done with the new Sleek palette, the ultra mattes V2 palette. I have used mainly three eyeshadows from the palette that are thunder, orbit and ink, and now here you have the photos.

También quería hablar de Urban Decay. Esta marca siempre se ha caracterizado por ser vegana y no testada en animales, bien pues ahora esta empresa, al igual que Mac, ha decidido abrirse al mercado chino y para esto se han cargado totalmente ese status de 'Vegan and cruelty free' que ha sido siempre el principio de la empresa. De hecho en una de sus paletas el diseño recitaba algo así como 'WE DON'T DO ANIMAL TESTING...How could anyone?'. Pues ahora esta empresa se ha pasado sus principios por el forro (con perdón) y obviamente van a empezar a testar sus productos en animales ya que sugún la ley china es obligatorio que los productos de cosmética se testen en animales para ser vendidos en China (ridícula y absurda además de ATROZ). Por ello os dejo aquí el link por si queréis firmar la petición en contra de que UD haga esta practica. Podéis firmar AQUÍ aunque también he dejado el gadget en la columna de la derecha para el que se le pase o no lea esto. Muchas gracias de antemano a todo el que firme.

I also wanted to speak about Urban Decay. This brand is famous because of its standards of Vegan and Cruelty free but now,  together with Mac, they have decided to open to the Chinese market. This means that now their products are going to be tested on animals eventually since it is compulsory by law in China that cosmetic products are tested on animals (absurd, ridiculous and ATROCIOUS law). Urban Decay have released some palettes in the past that used to have a design saying 'WE DON'T DO ANIMAL TESTING...How could anyone?' and now they have sold themselves out with this practice so if you are against of this don't hesitate to sign this PETITION here. Thank you so much for your signatures.

Otra cosa que quería decir es que ví en el blog de subflava esta entrada que se trata de un evento que va a tener lugar en Madrid el día 17 de junio para promover la adopción de gatos y aprender sobre ellos así que si estáis por allí cerca y queréis asistir no lo dudéis. Estoy segura de que estará genial.

Y por último, puesto que ahora estamos con lo de la Eurocopa de polonia y Ucrania y aparece en todos lados quería decir y aclarar la información que por desgracia se oculta y que a las televisiones e informativos no les 'interesa' decir y es que Ucrania ha MASACRADO a 80.000 perros y gatos callejeros con el pretexto de 'limpiar las calles' durante los preparativos de la Eurocopa. Yo he visto fotos y videos sobre el tema y lo que intentan ocultar. Perros y gatos quemados vivos, envenenados o disparados hasta morir. Esto es lo que el gobierno Ucraniano ha hecho por un evento deportivo. Y bien, yo sé que las selecciones no tienen la culpa aunque no sé vosotros pero yo me niego a ver ni un solo segundo de esa Eurocopa, se me encoge el corazón cuando pienso en ello y por supuesto que me 'encabrona' mucho saber que ninguna selección ha dicho 'No, no jugamos esta eurocopa después de la MASACRE que se ha llevado a cabo'. Ha sido el mayor homicidio animal en Europa hasta la fecha y ni siquiera se ha visto una mísera noticia en los telediarios o periódicos. ¿Es este el respeto que la raza humana tiene hacia los animales? Me produce náuseas y no quería dejarlo pasar, QUIERO QUE ESTO SE SEPA y que no sólo lo sepamos los que día a día nos interesamos por estas cosas. :(

Lastly, now that we have the Eurocup everywhere I wanted to state and inform all of you about what the Ukraine government has done since it is so sad that televisions and papers hide information because they are not 'interested'. Ukraine have MASSACRED 80.000 stray dogs and cats under the pretext of 'Cleaning the streets' during the preparations for the Eurocup. I have seen videos and photos about it and what they want to conceal. Dogs and cats burnt alive, poisoned and shot dead. This is what the Ukraine government have done for a sport event. I know national teams are not guilty although I don't know about you but I refuse to see any second of this Eurocup, my heart shrinks every time I think about it and I am also very upset because no national team has said 'No, we don't play because of the MASSACRE that has been carried out'. This has been the biggest Animal Homicide in Europe to date and not even a miserable piece of news has been seen on the TV news or the papers. ¿Is this the way the human being respect animals? It just makes me sick and sad I didn't want this to let it go like nothing, like if it wasn't important and that's why I'm talking about this here, TO LET EVERYONE KNOW. :(

60's Inspired Look and PETA link

Hace unos días decidí hacer un look inspirado en los años 60, ya sabéis Twiggy, Los Beatles, las minifaldas y demás. No he hecho ningún maquillaje de época que haya subido al blog hasta ahora y he decidido empezar con este porque me parece que los 60 fue una década especial y llena de creatividad en muchas artes como por ejemplo la música. Bien, pues aquí está el look. Ya veréis que es muy sencillito, sombra clarita en párpado, cuenca marcada en color más oscuro, delineado y pestañas inferiores dibujadas. También decidí añadir unas pecas para que fuera más similar a la modelo del momento que fue Twiggy. 

A few days ago I decided to do a 60's inspired look. You know Twiggy, the Beatles, the miniskirts..... I hadn't uploaded any decade makeup here on my blog yet and I decided to start off with this sixties one since I think it was a decade full of magic and creativity in many aspects of art such as music. This is the look. It is very simple, just a light shadow on the whole lid, then a darker one very defined on the crease, eyeliner and drawn on lower lashes. I also Decided to add a few freckles to make it more similar to Twiggy's natural face makeup.

También, como me habéis preguntado dónde encontrar una lista completa de las marcas que testan y que no testan en animales, he estado buscando y en la web de PETA podéis encontrarlas todas, la que lo hacen, las que no y las que están en proceso de cambiar. El link es ESTE y podéis buscarlas por letra o bajaros la lista completa. Os quedaréis de piedra si os tomáis un tiempo para verlas todas. 

A few of you have asked me where to find a whole list of brands that test and don't test on animals. PETA is the right place to go to. They have an updated list of both brands that do test and brand that do not test and also the ones that are trying to change that. The link is this one HERE and you can find them by the letter or if you prefer you can download the whole list in pdf.

Bueno, también quería decir que MAC Cosmetics que no solía hacer esta barbaridad de testar en animales y que lo decían tan orgullosamente, ahora que van a entrar en el mercado chino, lo van a hacer así que tanto para mí como para otras bloggers esta marca ha muerto ya que se ha vendido y ha vendido sus principios. Para las que no me crean aquí tenéis toda la historia 

I  also have to say that MAC Cosmetics didn't use to test on animals but now, due to their expansion to the Chinese market, they are going to practice this atrocity. I can say that to me and to other bloggers MAc is DEAD from now on since they have just sold themselves and their standards, those standards that they would show off in the past when comparing to other brands. SAY NO TO CRUEL COSMETICS and new look!

Hoy estoy muy disgustada y a la vez contenta. Os explico, estaba viendo el ultimo video de Jennifer Makeup Glam y ella comentaba en el video una entrada de un blog de una chica, Nataliciosa, en concreto esta entrada, en la que habla sobre el tema de experimentar con animales. Bueno, el caso es que estoy disgustada porque cada vez que leo o veo algo sobre el tema me pongo de los nervios y siento impotencia pero a la vez estoy contenta de saber que cada vez la gente se preocupa más de comprar productos que no han sido testados o experimentados en animales. La entrada no tiene desperdicio así que os animo a que la leáis y os deis cuenta de las atrocidades que muchas marcas hacen a los animales. También habla de la página web Go Cruelty Free en la que podéis buscar las marcas que no experimentan con animales en ninguna de sus fases en distintos países y también os indica cómo identificarlos (el logotipo del conejito saltarín). Yo lo considero una fuente de información muy valiosa y os animo a que si compráis productos testados en animales dejéis de hacerlo por esos pobres animales que torturan cada día en los laboratorios. En esta misma web también está el formulario para firmar la petición 'Say No to CRUEL COSMETICS' para impedir que hayan productos testados en animales en la union Europea. También os animo a firmarla aquí.

Hi there! Today I'm very upset and happy at the same time. I tell you, I was watching the last video from Jennifer Makeup Glam and she was talking about an entry in a blog, Nataliciosa, in particular this entry. Here, she speaks about testing and experimenting on animals. Well, the thing is that I'm very upset because every time I see, hear, or read anything about this I get sooo upset and I feel powerlessness but at the same time I'm happy because I can see that every day people care more and more about this issue and they don't want to buy products unless they are animal cruelty free. This entry is very useful but sadly is written in Spanish but it doesn't matter because she also gives information about the website Go Cruelty Free (in English) in which you can get info about the issue and lists of products that are animal cruelty free in every country. In this website there is also the form to sign the petition  'Say No to CRUEL COSMETICS' to avoid the unnecessary testing on animals and its dairy products in the EU. I encourage you to sign it here if you haven't.

Bueno, y después de todo esto que es tristemente cierto, paso a presentaros el look de hoy. Como creo y considero que es muy importante lo que os comento en el párrafo anterior, me voy a limitar a poneros las fotos del look y ya está. Quería hacer una entrada sola con lo de antes pero como lo iba a hacer hoy mismo también pues os lo pongo junto aunque no me centro mucho en el look (espero que lo entendáis). Se trata de un look en azules muy bonito y fresco para la primavera. I wanted to do an entry with everything I said in the first paragraph but I was going to post the look today also so I thought I'd do it together not focusing too much on the look. I hope you can understand. It's a look in blues very fresh for the springtime. UPDATE and new Look

Hola de nuevo!! Lo primero es disculparme por mis ausencias ultimamente, pero es que la búsqueda de trabajo digno está siendo muy dura. He hecho entrevistas pasado selecciones y llegado a la última fase para que luego me dijeran un NO rotundo en toda mi cara, y mejor no entro en detalles porque si lo hiciera me saldría la incorfomista que llevo dentro y mi honestidad me llevaría a no encontrar nunca un trabajo. Las cosas son injustas y mucho más injustas para el que menos tiene y posee pero bueno, de momento solo cabe resignarse y refugiarme en lo que de verdad me gusta: el arte y los animales. Y por ello, estoy de vuelta, esta vez con un look que he elaborado usando las famosas sombras de platinum de Mercadona que salieron a la venta este invierno que acaba de terminar. 

Hi guys! Sorry for disappearing lately but my job hunting is being very very hard. I've done a few interviews and after achieving the last stages I just had to hear a big 'NO' shouted at my face and this is very discouraging. I'm not going into details because if I did I wouldn't have enough space to express all my thoughts about it and my anger would lead me to nothing. Things are unfair and even more for the underdogs but anyway, right now I'm back and going to focus on what I really care and enjo: art and animals. That being said, this time I want to show you a look that I've done using two eyeshadows from a famous collection that came out here in Spain in a supermarket called Mercadona.

Otra cosa que quería deciros es que ahora mismo también me voy a tomar un descanso de lo de buscar trabajo porque sinceramente no puedo más, tengo la moral por los suelos y porque además mi novio viene hoy mismo desde Belfast y se quedará durante dos semanas, pero no os preocupéis porque tengo ya dos looks más preparados que subiré durante estos días ya que no creo que tenga el tiempo para hacer alguno durante estas dos semanas. Además de esto, no se si sabréis que también me dedico a pintar y ahora estoy experimentando con pasteles así que si os parece intentaré subir aquí también algunos de mis dibujos, para que podáis verlos y al mismo tiempo los tenga yo aquí juntitos. Bueno dicho todo esto, que espero alguna haya leído, os dejo con el look que ahora nos ocupa....


Another thing I wanted to mention is that I'm going to take a break now from job hunting because I'm very angry and discouraged like I said and I'm out of energy to continue and also because my boyfriend is coming from Belfast to spend a couple of weeks here, but do not worry because I've done a couple of looks that I will post during these days so my blog can be updated. Moreover, I don't know if you already know that I also draw and I'm getting into soft pastels at the moment, so I will be posting some of my work here too so you can have a look and so I can have them here all together. Anyway, now let's go back to the look.....

Como veis utilicé dos sombras platinum de Mercadona la nº 10 y la nº 12 sobre el Kohl Pencil Mossberry de la colección de Navidad de Sleek.


The look consists of two eyeshadows placed over the Sleek Kohl Pencil in Mossberry. The eyeshadows are from a supermarket here in Spain so I really doubt that you can get them outside Spain but one is sort of like a burgundy colour and the other one is like an iridescent pink that I placed just right in the middle

Ayer además del último mazazo que me llevé con lo del trabajo llegué a casa y vi este video que os pongo a continuación. Se titula Diario de un perro y creo que es el video más triste que he visto nunca. Me parecía lo más correcto compartirlo tanto aquí como en otras redes sociales ya que me parece que debemos concienciar a la gente de que un perro es un ser vivo más y como tal, merece ser respetado y cuidado, que son los más desafortunados porque los animales por desgracia no tienen derechos y de ello se aprovechan los humanos. Así que aquí os lo dejo.


Yesterday apart from being rejected from another job, I came across this video and I can see is one of the saddest videos I've ever seen. It is in Spanish and its called Diary of a dog and I thought That I had to post it here and on facebook since I think it is so unfair what humans do with animals. They are the real underdog of this society and don't even have rights which is totally unfair and humans take advantage of that but we should remember they are also living beings in the same way we are also animals. Hola a todos!!! Ya estoy de vuelta del viaje así que hoy os pongo un look que podría ser para Navidad también y que he hecho usando principalmente productos de Mac. Es un look que hice hace unos días y me pareció interesante así que aquí esta......


Hi guys! I'm back from the UK and I wanted to post something so here is a look that I did a few days ago using a lot of Mac products. It is kind of Xmas-ish....

Utilicé el nuevo colorete de Sleek de la edición de Navidad y en los labios simplemente opté por el 'See Sheer' de Mac aunque quería algo oscuro color cereza como el 'Hung-up' pero como allí hacía tanto frío mis labios están ahora muy secos y no quedaban bien con un color oscuro.
I applied the new Sleek blush from the Xmas Edition and 'See Sheer' by Mac on the lips though I wanted a berry colour like 'Hung up' by Mac. As it was very cold in the Uk my lips are very dry now so the dark colour wasn't the better option.

Como siempre al llevar purpurina no se aprecia tan bien en las fotos y en el lagrimal apliqué un body sparkles de Inglot en un color mezcla de azul turquesa y marrón que tampoco se aprecia bien en las fotos. En esta foto sin flash lo podéis apreciar un poquito mejor

As always, the glitter is hard to photograph and I also applied a 'body sparkles' from Inglot on the tear duct area that you can't really appreciate in the flash-photos so here you have one photo without using the flash light

Bueno, como ya sabéis he estado en el Reino Unido y he hecho algunas compras (aunque no muchas) y una de las cosas que compré que me encanta y que también he utilizado en este look es el 'Eyebrow Kit' de Gosh. Como me ha gustado tanto creo que merecía especial mención y os cuento... Se trata de una paleta con tres sombras en distintos tonos de marrón y un gel para sellar la ceja. A mi me ha encantado y veo muy prácticos los tonos de marrón que lleva. Aquí os dejo una foto (creo que me costó unas 7 libras o así)


Well, as you know I've been in the UK and I bought a few things in Superdrug. One of them I used it on this look and I really like it. It's the Gosh Eyebrow kit . Its a palette with three different tones of brown powders and a gel to set the eyebrow. I think the powders are great, they stay in place for a long time and the colours are very practical. Here you have a photo of the product (the price I think it was something like 7 pounds)

Y ahora sigo con el mismo tema. Ayer vi en el blog de subflava otra vez una de esas noticias que odio ver, unos malnacidos (y esta vez niños) en Eslovaquia que quemaron vivo a un cachorro.....No puedo con estas cosas y en fin, espero vuestra ayuda para que firméis (es gratis) y contribuyáis a que estas cosas no pasen nunca más.
